Yes along with a few other nifty little gadgets. They seem to "project" light quite nicely

This is due to the phospher coating. The light is actually comparable to 4300k, the halo's are 5000k.

LED strip and angel eyes. Out of curiosity, what are AE rings? Edit: AE rings are angel eye rings, I just figured it out. Doh!

The angel eyes shown are 80mm and will be used on the surrounds of the high beams.

lol well documented issue here... I think a heat gun and sharp blade is the only way. Then reseal. OSS Designs must be doing it some way!

Good luck! Look forward to more pics

I have been making quite some progress after taking apart the headlights for three days. And that was only one of them. I still have to do the other. Here are some pictures. Ill post way more and maybe a a DIY if enough show interest.

I have absolutely no idea how people do it so easily, maybe you can chime in. Either way great job so far, they look fantastic.

I know some of the 1 drivers on here had to have come from the Subaru world...

You can put subaru headlights in the oven at about 225-250 degrees and it will melt the sealant enough that you can pop them apart. Any reason you couldnt do this with these?

P.S. go easy, new to this fancy BMW stuff

Permaseal in newer stock bmw housings is a lot different and it takes certain/specific methods to take headlights apart. Its not the same as the old, regular sealant in older model cars. Its a real bitch to get opened and if you mess it up, your out $1,500 to replace 1 headlight.

I assumed it was something along these lines, just wasnt sure. Figured I would ask at least, still learning. I will not be "cooking" my headlights apparently... Slightly off topic, but for the Amber reflectors, once the headlight is apart, can they just be snapped off? Or are they part of the glass as a whole unit?

I will find out right now. I like the amber so I never bothered to check. Will update later.
