phone mute?

anybody know if there's a phone mute connection on the basic radio for the model e90/e91 ( without the nav system ) and where can i find the ignition power ( +15 )? Maybe on the lighter?. Try to put a bluetooth carkit in it.

Thanks

Cotton

I would like to know this as well. Cotton, which kit you are going to install? Please tell if you find an answer for this.

There is no mute line on the E90 radios. They are muted through the CAN-BUS by the stock equipment. Currently I know of no way to generate that CAN signal for muting with aftermarket equipment.

You can only mute the stock radio by putting circuit breakers on the speaker lines coming from the radio. The parrot kit comes with such circuit breakers that cut of the radio when a call comes in and puts the phone signal on the speakers instead. But this will only work if you donīt have logic7 or hifi.
