OWN ONE OF THE BEST LOOKING 1 SERIES IN OZ: Selling my modded 123d at end of April...
Looks like I'll be selling my AC Schnitzer modded 123d Convertible that is powered by a 2.0 Liter turbo diesel four banger tuned to deliver 241 HP (180 Kw) and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque. (Ready for stage 2 tuning to 270 HP for $1500)
This car has more HP than a 125 and more torque than a 135 with the added benefit of only having to fill up once or twice a month! I also added AC Schnitzer front splitters and a carbon fibre Vorsteiner vented hood, painted to match the car, which creates improved ventilation above the golf-ball sized turbos and decreases engine bay temperature by about 20 degrees. Next came the "M style" quad exhaust and rear bumper painted to match the body of the car. Total modifications to the car cost $9500. The car has less than 9000kms and is a 2010 registered vehicle, including: Convertible Twin turbo diesel Alpine White Terra leather interior Brushed aluminum trim M sport pkg 6 speed auto with steptronic "Anthracite silver effect" roof Comfort access system Windscreen Total stock cost including all taxes & GST: $80,000 This car has been babied & driven by me - a 41 yr old old married guy. It's fully paid for, never seen the track, and doesn't have a scratch. I can't sell the car until the end of April, but I'm looking for offers from anybody who is interested. Actually, the exhaust as is doesn't sound really any different as the diesel is "weird" with it (according to my tuning guy). He has another exhaust fitment, which will really make it sound a lot better as well as stage 2 tuning from Schnitzer, which I was going to put on, but have decided against it now because I'm selling the car. It will cost about $1500 - $2000 for the tuning & the exhaust piece (before the quad tips) if somebody wanted to get it done.
Yes, that pic was taken at the Rocks 2 weeks ago & yes, I can't believe I would ever buy a diesel, but now that I have experienced the torque, I love it! What does a petrol station look like again? I don't know as it's been sooooooo long since I filled up... |

"Litre" is spelt with an "r" before the "e" as opposed to your transposition - unless of course, one hails from the excited states in which case please continue with "US English" (one of Microsoft's more entertaining oxymorons)

Haha...I guess my Canadianisms are showing, eh? I actually just cut & pasted that from a blurb on the net & didn't check it for "proper" British spelling...

Gonna add the 2 cat's and do the new stage 2 tuning to create almost 200KW. I figure that any of you youngsters would want the exhaust note & extra power, so I may as well have this done in order to sell. Will keep you posted!
