Isnt the GTS already has P-Zero Corsa as stock fitment? I assumed the corsa is better than the michelin cup tires.

Stunningly excellent, and a reference in the full sense of the word.
As a whole other videos are entertaining and indistinguishable, even while exhibiting some noteworthy ability. This one is in a different class.

The work on the apex entries and exits alone was nearly flawless from what I can tell. It is especially notable in working around other cars.

Congratulations on the years of experience, developed skills and talent. Thank you for posting.

As was already pointed out earlier in the thread, don't confuse the BTG (bridge-to-gantry) time that was measured here with a full lap (to which the 8:15 time refers).

It was a great lap in any case - BTG under 8 minutes is really fast already.

The quoted 8:15 is the entire ring...

This video is BtG...

As someone else posted the link here's a copy paste. Add another 25 to 30 seconds to the lap time to get the approximate Ring time it would be.

On a tourist lap it's impossible to complete a whole lap without stopping to queue for the gates at 'C'. So the BTG method is to time your laps in a point-to-point style from the bridge to the gantry. On a trackday this is also useful, as you don't have to complete 3 whole laps (63km) to get one lap time. To recap: after exiting the carpark at 'C' on the map above, drive under the Bridge (Antoniusbuche) at 'B'. From here it's 19.1km to the Gantry (currently carrying Audi sponsorship) at point 'A'. Easy!

Some interesting facts about BTG:

The distance between the gantry and the bridge is almost exactly 1 mile, 1660mtrs.
It takes a top-end sportscar less than 25 seconds to cover this distance. Most normal cars with a 120mph top speed over 30 seconds.
A BTG lap isn't just 25 or 30 seconds shorter, as the standing start from point 'C' adds another 5-6 seconds back on the time for most cars.
The straight is very bumpy, and is uphill all the way to the bridge.
Top speed is attained into the dip AFTER the bridge on a flying lap
On a BTG lap top speed is attained before Schwedenkreuz or in the Foxhole (for lower power cars)

However, the Nordschleife is certainly much more unforgiving to driving errors as there are virtually no margins of error - if you're off the track, you're into the armco and that was that with your car. I've seen so many beautiful cars crashed due to a driver overestimating his skills, always a pity.

What do you Advevo think of 1M stock suspensions on a quite bumpy track like the Nordschleife, the 8'15" vid' you posted weeks ago following the CSL was with your stock black 1M, am I wrong ?
