Who want to play "where is the coolant leak?"?

So this happened on my way to work. Anyone want to speculate on where the coolant leak is coming from? Seems to be coming from between the top half of the radiator and the underside of the air intake on the driver side.

Looks like it might be the coolant vent hose. It runs along the top of the radiator and goes from the top of the upper radiator hose to the coolant reservoir. They get brittle and crack pretty often.

I would take the two screws off of the air intake above the radiator and yank it out... you should be able to see the hose pretty easily.

Yep, thin plastic crossover pipe would be my first guess. You can replace it with some suitable metal pipe. Just roll some beads onto the end so the clamp has something to work properly with.

that hose you can see under the air intake snorkel expands and will split at the worm clamp on the underside. Check at the clamps for a split

It was the coolant vent hose! Which decided to take out the upper radiator hose with it by being disagreeable when it came to removing the hose clamp and snapping off the nipple that feeds it. Fun fact, the large, 4 fitting upper radiator hose is about $60 and the thin, 1 fitting, one open end vent hose is about $55.
