235 on VMR et45 up front?
Looking for some new front tires for my set of VMR 710 and wanting to get some more rubber up front. Is anyone running a 235 up front without camber plates? I'm on BMW Performance suspension and have M3 "bits" installed up front. Don't know the specs from my last alignment, but I'm running between 1.5 and 1.9 camber.
Thanks

I am on stock sport suspension, VMR 18x8.5 +45 and if you take a dip while turning hard it used to rub with the liner a little but that is basically it. That was with the Falken RT615k. I now have Bridgestone R760s same size and they never touch. I don't have any reason to believe that with slightly lower PE it would need camber.
This is a bad pic but you kinda get an idea. |

Yes you will be perfectly fine. I am running a 18x8.5 et45 front with a 235/40 tire and rub very slightly. If you have anymore wheel and tire fitment questions do not hesitate to ask

+45 offset would be the ideal offset for an 8.5" rim in the front? I'm just wondering because I want to have a square setup with either a 235 or 245 up front. Just not sure if it's possible. I don't want to fender roll at all.

I'm running an 18x8.5 et40 with 235/40 upfront. On coilovers, definitely had to roll my front fenders and did a slight pull so it wouldnt rub/ride the tire. But on stock height I had no rubbing problems at all.

what is the slightly lower pe? Ive seen it mentioned before. When I think of PE I think of performance exhaust but obviously your referring to something different. |

Im running into the same issue .. Lowered 1.5 on springs. M3 front control arms, vmr710 19x8.5 et 45 with yoko s drives 225/35/19 after installing the arms the caster changed and I'm hitting the fender now and it is rolled and pulled.. I'm thinking a shorter shoulder tire will solve this issue with about an 1/8 less rubber..
Any advice on tires that would help my achieve this? |
