Alufelgen company not responsive?

I am looking to get a set of stock fitment CSL rep wheels for my 135i Cabrio. Most vendors are out of stock of all colors. Alufelgen has b stock sets on eBay. I was curious what to expect with b stock. I tried to call several times with no luck. I also tried to contact them through ebay. Any thoughts?

They have horrid customer service. I would never buy their wheels even though I like the look. I tried for over a week to get them to respond to my requests for buying their wheels with no luck!

A week........is that all

You obviously weren't that bothered enough to want a set.

When I was making enquires to them last year, response time from them to my various emails varied from 5 mins to 6 weeks......

Still bought a set of wheels off them.

Other than the initial purchase, what could you possibly need to call them about? Its a piece of metal...

I emailed them about a week ago to see if they are going to get anymore SF-71s for 1 fitment. They haven't responded.

You break a wheel and you need a new one or warrenty service. Why buy from them when there is plenty of wheels from other companies that are just as nice and give good service.

Very few wheel companies will ever give you something free... Normally wheels will not break under normal use, only when you hit a pothole or abuse the wheels, which is not the companies fault. Kinda a wasted email at that point.

I got them on the phone after the first call about a month back looking to color match after I curb rashed one of my wheels. They didn't really help me much but I still love the wheels.

Yeah I've never had a problem with them. Always get back to me after a couple days.

On another mote, what color do you have Jockey? Did you find a solution?

I am not talking about free, it's about responding to customers in a timely manor.

Gunmetal. I took the wheel to a local bodyshop that also refinished wheels. $80 and it looks as good as new. But I still don't know the paint code, oh well.

Another anecdote: my friend bought CSL replica wheels for his 335i, and it was like pulling teeth to get help from them because the wheels were damaged during shipping due to their piss poor job at protecting the wheels. It also took them over 6 months to send out the M decals for said wheels when they forgot to send them with the wheels in the first place, even after repeated complaints.

The wheels look great when new but man are they soft. I have 2 bent rims from a pothole that I didn't even hit hard.

Doesn't surprise me horrid company. I bought Apex wheels had an issue they overnighted me the solution. Complete opposite companies.

I see their website has now disappeared as well, so it's looking like they have finally gone out of business.

Shame, for me the CS7 was the perfect size combo, hope I don't have to replace them, as I don't know what make I'd get, not many choices in the right ET in 8" & 9" widths.

That's not very comforting to know that they're gone. I hope I don't damage one of my CS7s or I'm SOL
