ALPHA-N Carbon parts TROUBLE!

Hey,

I've been waiting for my Alpha-N parts for about three months now.

Any other people here having this problem?

Every time there is a excuse for why the parts are delayed.

First there was a one week delay on the diffusor because of large orders.
Second the brackets on the diffusor had to be rebuilt.
Third the carbon cooker oven broke down
Fourth the diffusor has been in the paint shop for two weeks.

Is this a scam?

I ordered my diffuser back in the beginning of July and there was an issue but it left on Fri with Fedex and due early this coming week. Alpha-n have also refunded me some of the cost which arrived in my account without any delay.

Was really digging the splitters, but Alpha didn't want to deal direct, and their US distributor (AI Design) dropped them due to some issues. There was a vendor that appeared (Supreme Power) and said he could get these to us here in the US, but 3 of my emails in as many months were left unanswered...

They gave me a voucher worth 100 dollars and refunded the cost of shipping.
The thing is, that voucher knocks off 100 dollars of parts costing 2000+ dollars

I'm paying around 2000 dollars, and get a refund of 40 dollars after three month delay. 2% discount, what a bargain!

Let's say I'm a bit disappointed

Shall I be happy to read this thread just before I was getting ready to order their trunk and maybe other goodies like splitters and diffusor? My contact with Alpha N guys before left me with a real good impression so I am hoping this is just a isolated and unfortunate case.

I had the same impression. One of the reasons I ordered ALPHA-N parts was that Alex from the company seemed like a nice guy. Doesn't change the fact though that I've been waiting three months and have no idea what so ever when I'll receive the parts.

I got my splitters about 3 days after my order (early July).
Wasn't dissatisfied w the quality of the part. There was however an issue with the placement of the mounting holes; the EU spec front bumper was slightly different than the US ones... But nothing a lil Dremel couldn't fix.
I wanted to get more parts; I'm waiting to see if there are any fitment issues w the larger items before making the commitment.
Maybe the delay had something to do with suring-up fitment for US-spec cars?
(speculation).
BTW Alex is a nice guy... Google translate...not-so-much. I had to go thru an EX (living there) to fully understand some of his communications.

FWIW, it is my understanding subsequent splitters sent to the US had that rectified.

Don't let it put you off mate, issues now appear to be sorted and people are receiving their parts.

Sucks to hear about these issues. Alex was an extremely nice guy when I spoke with him, and his products are top notch.

If anyone in the U.S. is interested in the Alpha-N splitters without having to wait, I just posted a FS thread for a brand new set in the Members Classified section:

Just received, like 15 min ago my alpha-n carbon diffuser and I have to say it is top quality, the weave and finish is spot on, just as good as my BMW Performance spoiler......Can't wait to fit now!

And now, I hear the paint shop is experiencing problems.

When will this end?

Temperature is dropping here in Sweden and soon the car will be put in a garage over winter.

I bet the parts look awesome, I just hope I get to experience it at some point.
