headlight question

this is probably a dumb question but i really have no idea what type of headlights i have its 2008 128i i do know it has a n51 engine but as for head lights or tail lights i have no idea wether its adaptive or not

and when i want to upgrade to LCI tail lights does it matter which ones ?

unfortunately the car is being worked on right now it had p1017 code the dealer i bought it from couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. they replaced the eccentric shaft sensor, spark plugs, solenoids, head gasket, they ended up bringing it to precision imports in manchester nh and they said it was a valve cover gasket leak and new ignition coils so hopefully ill get it back today and post a picture

Nashua is so close to Portsmouth and Bav Auto probably could have given you a lot of very good advice FREE. Bav Auto provides free catalogues and tons of free technical assistance on their web site. These cars do need mechanics/people that know BMW's well.

northendancer yes i know thats what i tried explained to the dealership i bought it from that i did not want to to work out after 3 days of me calling non stop they finally brought somewhere else that has the bmw scan machines..... anyways after this if any future problems occur only bmw or 3D auto works will be working on my car since i bought a 4 year aftermarket warranty
