Finally, ED April 3! Tint or not to tint? 35% or 20%?

The sales manager from the dealer has confirmed my 330i should arrived and ready for delivery on April 3. Oh, ya!!!

I had all my previous cars tinted with 35% all around. But only the Infiniti FX35 I purchased last September has 20% tint in the front to match the factory rear windows.

Since the 330i is going to the first car I leasing, I am not sure if I should tint it or not. If I decide to tint, should I got with 35% or 20% all around? I am also thinking to tint the rears with 20% and front 35%. Will it looks bad? But it seems like the cops are having road block and issuing tickets for tinted windows very often in New Jersey(just got one ticket few weeks ago for the FX35), maybe I should just keep it clear? Anyone know will the ticket for tinted window leaves any negative record for your driver license or insurance?

In addition, I made the mistake by purchased a pair of Philips 6000k D2S bulbs which I did not noticed the e90 comes with D1S. Anyone has any e46 or e39 that has D2S OEM bulbs interested in the upgrades?

5 more days to go!!! Cannot wait!!!

Still thinking about tint!!!

what part of Jersey are you in???? I have the same exact are order! ...I got 20% tints on my car and never get messed with. Only once in Cedar Grove NJ, some dumb hick gave me a ticket.

I plan on doing the same with the e90. 20%

I ordered mine from JMK BMW. Still cannot decide to go with either 35% or 20%? Or maybe 20% in the rear and 35% in the front.

20% dude. I just got mine at 30% but I would've liked it a little bit darker.

20% TINT ALL AROUND (except the front windsheild of course) I have 20% on mine and its real slick looking. Black on BLack on Black...

Whatever you decide make sure you go with the same shade on all 4 doors. Have one shade on the front windows and a different on the back doors looks bad. I put 35% on the 4 doors, 20% on the back window and 5% on the sunroof on mine. Having the 20% on the back and limo on the sunroof makes the 35% on the doors seem darker than it is.
