Thanks! Yeah if you are more concerned about the aesthetics, go with a different setup. I love the way mine sits, but more than that I love the way it handles now!

Garage List
2002 BMW M3  [0.00]
looks great. mine dropped a tad more, and my thicker sidewalls eat a bit more gap.

it's a classy drop - these aren't hondas. and yes, most importantly, the handling is a dream.

What if I try to fit V710 19' wheels on this drop? would it rub?
I just concerned about fitment, because I heard that VMR rims doesn't have 100% right fitment for 135i.
so, I still can't decide whether I should go with 19 or 18....

What does this mod normally run? I see on the Gwinett BMW web site they indicate $1658.00 for the kit with an installed price of $4946.00.

If you get it discounted, expect to pay around $1200 for the kit. Installation through the dealer is almost as much as the kit itself. Some shops do it for somewhere in the range of $300-800, which would be cheap compared to dealer fees. I installed mine myself in a nice garage with all required tools available to me.

My dealership quoted me at $960 (they sell almost at cost..). I bet they'd rip me off for installation though.

Do you lose warranty if you install it in any place other than the dealership?

There is a law that prohibits BMW from forcing a customer to have all maintenance/labor performed at the BMW dealer. Any certified shop/mechanic will do the trick, and the only thing they will not warranty is obviously the labor since they won't get to perform it, however the parts are guaranteed since they are made by BMW for your car.

Certified or "weekend" mechanic.
