Any further updates regarding this suspension upgrade?
What are your impressions now that you have been driving it a while? Have you had time to autocross/track it? Any small problems or work arounds that you have run into? Spring rates feel good for autocross/track use? Thanks. |

Charles, thanks for the info on stock spring rates--I think that is important to know as a starting point. That said, what spring rates were installed with the TC Kline setup? Don't recall reading that bit of info in your post.

TC Kline set -up
I had this set up installed on my car. Kline recommended 300lb front springs and 500 lb rear springs. In my opinion, this set up transforms the car. It handles much better than stock and reduces body roll significantly. I have compression set one click off of full soft and the rebound 2 clicks from soft. The car is a little stiffer than stock but it now handles better than my E46 M3 did with alot more power. There is some noise at low speeds but it is not intrusive. I am glad I put these on. I talked with a local guy here in Houston ( Matthews Auto Sales) who does alot of club racing and is familar with alot of the other set -ups. He recommends Kline or Vorshag ( sp?)for their quality products. May be an overkill for what I am doing with my car but maybe it will entice me do some more DE classes and take it to the track.
Charles1 -- What did you do for the rear compression adjusters in the trunk? Did you cut holes in the trunk liner? I haven't done any thing yet. |

I am on 400/500 with 450/550 and 600 on order. Plan on renting the streets for a test an tune. My brother is trying to find a free weekday so he can test the H2 cars also.

I know it is a different car but I have a TC Kline/ProParts D/A setup on my E36 M3 with 450/600 springs and it is HARSH if you are not on smooth roads. Handles like a dream, though.

TC and Mark are great guys, it's nice having them close by, the D/A suspension on my M3 is amazing. If I get a 135, that will be one of the first things I do.

Any updates on your experience with the TCK setup? I am totally on the fence as to whether I should do the TCKs with camber plates or just do some KW V2's or V3's. Having no experience with the KW's concerns me a bit, but I don't want to upset the livability of the car too much.
