I'm in but a group buy may incur the wrath of customs ?

Probably not worth a group buy since you'd get hit by GST...

We generally lower the value quite a bit in order to get around the taxes

Guys I would be in for a DP and FMIC if there is a group buy.

I am sure Tiago will look after us if so.

Tiago - will also get some gaskets and would you also recommend the FMIC piping or will the existing work fine?

Thanks

Gaskets are included and the lower charge pipe is an upgrade over the factory 07-08 CP but it's not a requirement. The upgraded LCP also makes the install quicker and easier since you don't have to spend time separating the factory unit from the OEM coupler.

Right now DP's are about $360 + $90 to ship to AUS, if we had an organized GB of at least 10 people I could knock that price down 10% to around $324 + shipping

awesome price!!! What about a discount combo price for people that also want to get the 5 or 7" FMIC?

Cheers

Still... Customs is like 15-19% on top of price inclusive of shipping (or is this product being from usa only partially exempt?)

So even with the cheaper shipping it would pretty much even out unless it was shipped in batches of 3? (Assuming downpipes only and no reduced duty/tax)

We generally alter the value to match the shipping cost when we ship internationally. Shipping in boxes of 3 would be the best bet.

That's probably not correct since USPS recently changed what services a certain package can ship to AUS. For intercooler orders it's better to contact us directly for a shipping quote

That's actually low these days considering what the FMIC kits sell for. We're currently working out a deal with a distributor down in AUS so we can offer our FMIC's for a lower rate, I should have something for you guys soon

well.. yeah i guess the overall cost is still 'reasonable' (though N54 FMIC's are horribly overpriced compared to other platforms... yours are more in line with what they SHOULD cost), but that's not enough justification imo haha

Distributor would be awesome

Do your intercoolers fit the 1M without any cutting or modification of the body in any way ?

I would be interested in the DP and intercooler if this deal comes through.
