jb4 problem

i installed jb4 pnp for my 2009 135i only mods are active autowerke bov kit and a berk muffler delete after i had everything plugged up my car wont crank so then i attempted to put it back to stock and still no crank its probly a user error but i have double chekcked all subconnetors everything double checked still no crank please could anyone assist im stuck without a car

make sure everything in the ecu compartment is properly connected, even the things you didn't mess with. could have loosened something up...

I know you said you checked the sub connectors but check that you placed them back into the correct locations on the ecu connectors. ie you may have placed the white and grey connectors on opposite sides. Also make sure the connectors are fully seated. Good luck with finding the problem. I know you will enjoy the tune

For install related questions first carefully review the PDF install guide including the troubleshooting section. Then if needed email BMS for support. Include photos of your install with that email. Often they can spot the problem instantly with a photo and normally reply within an hour.

i emailed terry ,my car is at my familys local auto shop right now so i dont have access to it . But tommarow im just going to tow it to lutz performance they are well known in my area and do jb4 installs, so it should be a snap for them. I kinda suck in the ECU field haha thankyou everyone for your help i will everyone know what the problem was .

Maybe you have a connector on backwards? I would start over at step one again and work your way through it. It's probably something simple like a connector on upside down or not seated properly. Give it another try or get some more help from Terry before you pay for that tow. Good luck man!!

ok so it turns out i had the subconnectors backwards so all is good now, and also is there any kind of instuction of how to use the steering wheel controls nothing came with the jb4 unit anyone have info on this ???????

i got to the commands but my tach doesnt sit exatly at the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 options??
