I went through this last week. Released to the carrier means getting to the port by train and the next step should be waiting for the "shipping vessel". My car finished production on a wednesday and was at the port by friday. Yours should be there by now, sometimes the system is behind.

There is a good chance that it will. My car took 5 days to complete production and get on a ship. Others have posted that they waited at the port for several days. Also my car did not show up on the shipping company's tracking for a couple of days but it was already on its way.

I think this stage is the hardest part of the waiting!

The not so nice lady at this point is still telling me that production is complete and waiting to be released to the carrier. I hope my chances for a ship to South Carolina this week are not out the window. Wonder what the hang up is or if the system is just slow. Too much anticipation here I guess. Thanks for understanding!

As of this morning my 330xi was at the port awaiting a shipping vessel to South Carolina. Anyone else in the same place with their order? Does anyone know if BMW still uses ships other than WW? I see the K line Ingolstad is leaving Bremmerhaven on this Friday the 28th and hoping my car will get on this ship. Otherwise it looks like the next WW ship is the Courage leaving on Nov 3. Hope I make the earlier one. Thaks for any reply.

My car is waiting to be ship right now, I don't know which ship will it be. But it's coming to California. This feeling it's just like 4 years old kid waiting he's parents to take him to the park or somewhere is fun.

The 1-800 number showed my 325 waiting at the port from 10/19-10/26. My CA confirmed that my car did make it onto the Freedom that left Bremerhaven on the 24th. The Freedom is scheduled to arrive at Charleston on 11/10. My CA believes that my car will be ready for pick up in Jacksonville on 11/14. I'll be surprised if it is ready by then.

I have also been able to track my car by the VIN on WWs web site. Hope you're having luck finding yours.

My car is coming to East Coast (MA). Since yesterday it has said that it is En Route on the Owner's Circle site. The W&W website says their is no tracking information for the auto cargo ID (VIN) I put in. Anyone else have this problem? Does it take a few days to get in the W&W system?

Did anyone else notice a change to the BMW website? I can't track my car anymore. Does this mean (finger crossed) they've handed it off to my dealer, or is it just a web-site update of some sort?

I'll try calling the dealer when I get a minute.

That may be a good sign! Since You had ED, maybe they switch it after you take delivery, so maybe there is a chance it's on a truck right now.

Can anyone else who has one on order check to see if their's has changed?

The dealer says it should be there tomorrow. As long as it gets there early enough for them to get all the paperwork etc. done, I should be able to pick it up tomorrow evening.

Nice. Very exciting! My car was on the Integrity which came in on Sunday. It is also staying in NJ, so hopefully it will be ready this week. It looks like the VPC is moving along...

My 330xi is finally in transit. Left Bremmerhaven on the 30th or 31st and supposed to arrive in Charleston on the 14th. It is on a K-line ship--Ingolstadt. Anyone on the same ship?

Same situation as you. Dealer knows it arrived on the 30th but that's it. No indication that it is at the VPC or waiting for truck etc...
