These are the marker lights I bought:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-11-BMW-E8...a3523e&vxp=mtr Which are the same as the ones you get from the online stores. Just a bit cheaper. |

Thanks! Unfortunately the two tool boxes you can't see aren't quite enough because i can't seem to get this nut loose:
Apparently it is a 50mm nut, not a 52mm nut like some posts had reported (auto vs. manual maybe?) and so the wrench i've ordered does not fit. I tried other methods, but its on there very tight and I don't wanna go through the nightmare of rounding it completely off. Looks like the diff and subframe bushings will have to wait till the 50mm wrench comes, unless anyone has any other suggestions? |

Latest: Custom Forgestars with big meaty direzzas. 245/40 and 285/30s.
I also bought a new daily driver. Big month for me. Spent lots of money...

Sorta had a feeling you'd go with these. Deff the best looking 5 star for this car and they are forged and pretty light. I love mine. Recently had them re-powder coated bronze. Like the black lines also. I'd get some if not so many others already had them plus I had lci's stock. Trying to think of some other original way to smoke the tails. Like your digital boost gauge also.

Btw how hard were your forgestar center caps to pop out? I have BMW center caps specifically for the forgestar center cap size because the stock ones don't fit but I could not get the forgestar ones to pop out. Even lightly tapped it with a hammer and would not come out so I just left it alone.

I went with these wheels more-so because I needed more traction than because of the looks. I don't like the Arc-8s, I think they are a bit ugly and overused, and these Forgestars were the ones I liked the best that I could get made in the offsets/widths I needed.

Next mod, because.... well I have too. Need more camber to fit the 245/40s up front. They rub a tiny bit on the fenders, and I'd rather not have that. After the 245s wear down in a year or two I'll get 255/35s for the front plus camber plates

Well I think we're done for this year as far as mods go. I'm gonna drive it and enjoy it over the few weeks that I have left. Then over the winter start on a few things I want to do that will leave the vehicle torn apart for a while. I put it up for the winters, so this is a perfect time to do this work.
