Sold my 135i
Well....it had to happen eventually I guess. I sold my 135i back to the dealer this week after having it for exactly one year. Since the E90 M3 arrived in June the 135i just hasn't had much use so the brain won over the heart and a fun part of my life has moved on.
For those interested with respect to what I got, I did do better than the RedBook value suggests, which surprised me. Of course, I took a hit on the GST and LCT components but that's a given. What I'll miss the most is the low-down torque of the N54 - especially with SSTT enhancement. The rumours are the next M3 will be a twin-turbo six with the same power output (309kW) of the current S65 V8. Now that will be worth waiting for.......... If you don't mind I may hang around a while as the Oz M3Post forum is a bit quiet at the moment. Last edited by amk2912; 07-24-2009 at 10:43 AM.. |

I can't afford to catch that bug! Glad you were able to sell the 135i Andre. No doubt we'll still see you around via the BMW Car Club of WA. Enjoy the M3

Another 1 lost to the M3 crowd...I almost got the bug too and found myself sitting in an M3 last month, engine note was lovely, but I really felt I liked the interior of the 1 better...esp the dash, and of course the low down torque.

i'd like an M3 but i couldn't keep my license driving around sydney if i had one, its like driving around the gaza strip the roads are so heavily patrolled.
did the sale of the 135i cover half the cost of the M3? |

It is pretty much fully-loaded though.... not that I got anything for all the options I had put in. I was sad to see her go but the other day I got to push the M3 to 8,000rpm in 2nd...I allegedly entered the freeway at a smidge over 120kmh! |
