135i loaner

Got one today while the 128 is in for service (just maintenance, nothing is broken.) The car is soooo base, . I can tell you the engine really is beautiful though. I have noticed it also likes gas as the MPG Avg is pretty low compared to driving my 128i. BMW did it right with our cars. So happy to be an e82 1 series owner!

Usually 26-28 on the 128i, on the 135 so far I've gotten 22-24 with the same style of driving. (Over a tank of 12 Gallons thats an extra 24-48 Miles per tank!)

That's some great mileage! My brother who has a 135i only gets about 18-19mpg.

Don't forget crappy CA gas, I moved from CA and get better mileage because of 93 octane.

I wish my dealer had 1-series loaners. They have plenty of base 3-series cars, and some 5-series they seem to only give out to 7-series owners. The other options are Camrys and Corollas Not that I'm complaining because they don't have to offer loaner cars at all!

My wife got a 135i with a DCT for a loaner a few weeks ago. I would loose my license if I had that for a daily driver.

get 15 mpg in my 135i in city driving (NY)... I do admit I am very hard on the car.

my mpg goes up dramatically when I am out of town, on normal roads without stop lights and traffic every 12 feet. (Around 20mpg)...

You are lucky with the 22-24 MPG.

I've had my 135i for 3 years now and have never gotten over 22... It's normally 20.5 to 21.0. I think the 2011 have been mileage. Mine (2008) is a gas hog!!!

A couple miles a gallon less is a very small price to pay for the extra gitty up.
