235 / 265 on stock wheels?
Can a 235/40 and 265/35 size be run on a 2011 135i sport with stock wheels and eibach pro system drop?
Thanks, need to order new tires soon, mine are roasted!

Thanks guys.
Did some research last night, didn't realize the stock wheels were a ridiculous 7.5/8.5 width. I'll be ordering 225/255 star specs ASAP.

It does fit, if you look in my album there are a lot of pics of my stock 261 filled with 235/265 combo. Trust me it does work and no rub. H&R ssp very slam too so eibach will be just fine.
To everyoqne else it does not rub with that combo and very meatty look. I would do it again and again if I ever go back to stock wheels 235/40/18&265/35/18 bridgestone RE760 sport Last edited by Everfly; 06-02-2012 at 11:38 PM.. |

If yall are sure you can fit t235/265 on 7.5/8.5 wheels, I'll order star specs tonight.
I'm just concerned a little bc it's on size outside tireracks recommended range for that wheel width.

are tires this wide suitable for daily? Any significant decrease to MPG over stock?

So 235/40 = 94mm sidewall height and 265/35 = 92.75mm If you went 265/40 in back, it would be 12mm taller than the front.
