Put me down as one that had an HPFP failure.
Car 263/740. I think it was a June 2011 build date as it was delivered end of August 2011.

No. US car, isn't it? Has to be 2011 June.

Time flies

Well it's all fixed now. I asked my SA to let BMWNA know about the HPFP failure and to see if there was any progress on getting an extended warrant on it. If I actually get a response I will post it for everyone.

How many miles were on your car when the HPFP failed?

11200 miles.
Pretty low for something like that to fail. It concerns me greatly.

It's just happened to me tonight, half-engine warning light came on saying Reduced Power. This happened to my 2008 335 coupe with the N54 engine and it was the fuel pump issue. Now this, it's very annoying, I just passed 10000km (6000 miles). My previous car I could shut it down and restart it and the light would go away for several days, not this time.

Good luck.
Just came back from dealer, initially when they read the key, it said VANO Solenoid issue and the SA was not sure if they would be able to confirm the problem today. I just got a call and confirmed it's the Knock Sensor and they will replace it on Tuesday. What is a knock sensor anyway? Just glad it's not the HPFP.

OK, thanks for the info + good luck in getting back on the road shortly in full shape.
