Looks like the BMW website finally updated the "Build Your Own" site for 2010 1'ers.

Hmmmm... I think that's the first time I've seen the new mirrors. I don't think I like them as much as the 08's and 09's. They look bigger to me... and not in a good way.

Anyone have any ideas why they changed the mirrors?

I recall some complaints that the viewing area of the old mirrors was too small. The new mirrors do appear larger, but I agree not in a good way.

Heated Steering wheel, Automatic High-Beams and Performance Accessories...(wonder if they are now pre-installed at the factory).

I didn't realize the Automatic High Beam option includes the digital compass mirror with universal garage door opener. That is the only feature I want from the premium package so now I can get that for $250 instead of $3,400.

My understanding is Performance Accessories are install at the Port of Entry.

yes I noticed this too, pretty sweet, just get this and leather and assist and you save weight with no power seats and the extra 1200 from premium pack
