The other thing is people that take their GPS's, put them in the glovebox when they park and leave the holder attached to the windscreen.
It screams out to thieves unfortunately. I went the Idrive option, because I like the access it gives you to the other systems in the car, and I'm a nerd who's never had idrive (or a bmw made in the last 15 years) before.
