Widest tires for 128 w/sport package
The FAQ only covers this for the 135's 18"s. I'm getting a 128 with the sport package, and I'm wondering if my Goodyear Eagle F1s that are currently on my 325 will fit the 128. They're 225's in the front and 255's in the rear. Awesome tires.
I can't believe they're putting those Pirellis as the OEM tires on 128s w/sport. My 325 came with those and they were horrendous. -Tim |

Keep us informed. I will be getting a 128i sport in two months, and will probably be interested in 225's all around. If you find a good wheel width/offset combo, post it up. Are you planning 17" wheels?... that is probably what I will do.
I think I test-drove a 128i sports with the Goodyear NCT5 tire on them... is it random who gets which tire? Why couldn't that have given us the re050 as well, that is a decent tire.

The 225/40/18 work fine on the front. You can use these tires. Hope this helps. Gill

But it would be nice if the 050A were available in a 205/50/R17 as well as the 225/45. Tom K. |
