Are you sure you are locked in?
Reason I ask is because I was unaware there was a way to lock in a specific rate while the car is being built. I secured my pre-approval loan check from Penfed in June when the rate was at 4.25%, but because the check was not exercised until July, I got hit with the 4.5% rate. I called and asked about it afterwards and they said it was correct - my rate was 4.5% since that was the rate when I exercised the loan...

Good to hear. I just didn't want you to end up surprised like I was if your rate came in higher than expected. You sure paid for your car awfully early for a September 15 ED though! I didn't pay for my car until about three days before I left.
