I still have my AW 1M. It's a daily driver with 47,000 miles. I've considered selling several times over the past few years, but every time I've come close to listing it, I'll wash my car and take a step back to admire it, test drive a potential replacement or visit this forum. Any of those things pretty much dispels any notion of selling.
It's hard to find a pre-owned enthusiast's car that hasn't been modified in ways that aren't to my liking, has complete service records, has clearly been well cared for and represents at least a somewhat sensisble purchase given my financial situation. In a lot of cases, I'm priced out of the market and in other cases, I literally can't find a single clean example that meets my criteria. I think my best shot is to just keep my 1M for a few more years. In other words, I already have what I'm looking for. Now, please nobody crash into my car. |

Still have mine w/ 47k miles. Haven't done a track day in a year though due to the downturn in the O&G bizz. Only time I go to the track now is when towing my kart trailer.
 Can't think of another car out there that is that much better for my purposes as a DD. The M2 is very good but not better enough to make me switch.

Still have mine with 25,XXX miles on it. Just added an F80 M3 ZCP to the family as my wife is having our first daughter any day now and we wanted a safe 4 door for the baby when she rides with me (not my crappy beater)!

Still original owner. Just turned 40k miles. Been bitten by the mod bug, mostly in the interest of turning it into more of a mixed use fun summer daily driver, ASP autocross car and track day beast.

Time for an update I guess. Deposit down February 2010, ordered February 2011, delivered April 28th 2011. She's a garage queen this year due to lack of time. Next year should be better currently around 22000kms.

Yes, still have my AW with embarrassingly low mileage, due to my international assignment. Luckily my brother is an excellent 'care taker' while I am away.
I see a 1M in every few months here(Shanghai), where its streets are flooded with new super cars and hyper luxury cars, it still stands out in it's own way. What a great car... Miss it everyday.

Original owner! Paid grand down and waited a year. PCD was awesome. Love my 1 ! 29,000 miles with original tires. So you guys know it's babied. Lol

Still mine with 36,000 miles, VO; high mileage due to almost DD for 11/2 years (no snow/salt!) after gave GTI to son. Now have Audi A3 for that and down to about 3K/year...Got rid of downpipe cats after warranty, sounds and goes better!
