BMW Performance aluminum pedals

For those of you that have purchased the BMW performance aluminum pedals, can you post where you purchased from and approx price (AT with dead pedal). I'm assuming the local dealers will be way over priced.

My sales consultant at Trivett Classic Parramatta quoted me $1100 fitted, checked and reconfirmed. They have no idea.

Only true for Manual Transmission. Auto cars are fine to use US Pedals...

You should have asked them if that's per pedal or not because it's a fantastic deal if it's for both

Good point. I've got the ///M Dead Pedal (which if LHD only anyway) so I didn't even think of that...

Besides the dead pedal, I still don't understand why the 3-piece MT pedals aren't the same for LHD and RHD? Can anyone pls enlighten?

Pedals are more curved and only have 3 bolts to hold them in (1 at the bottom 2 at the top)

In the US they are squarer and have 2 bolts at the bottom. On our cars the 2 bolts don't actually line up with the pedal - too far apart.

You can see which is RHD and which is LHD from the positioning of the Bonnet Release Lever. Different pedals. Don't fit.

Hey Angus, ... The pedals you have in your car are different to the ones you posted pics above. do you have part numbers for yours including the dead pedal.

My car gets off the boat today so I'm expecting to take delivery in the next two weeks. All the BMW press photos advertising the Edition sport+ models has photos of the aluminium pedals BUT... they are not mentioned in the list of inclusion when reading the text. A couple of guys in the UK have picked up their Edition Sport+and they confirm they dont have the aluminium pedals and are in discussions with their dealer because their advertising clearly has them pictured. I'm hoping the Australian spec cars will have them included since we get raped anyway. I will be looking for these come pick up day but it wont dilute my excitement for the car if they are not there (but I will have a discussion with them to include). Surely pictures advertising and representing the item being purchased has to stand for something or else they might as well show pictures of Ferrari's and then supply you a Hyundai.

Correct. Mine are the BMW Luxury Stainless Pedals: http://www.unitedbmwonline.com/bmw-s...automatic.html

Part Numbers:
35000410099 - Manual
35000410100 - Auto
51477906851 - ///M Dead Pedal

Ian is right - no dead pedal option for Oz. I bought a LHD M3 dead pedal and trimmed it to fit.... You can't tell that it's been trimmed and I'm pretty happy with it...

Also: couple of things about the Stainless Pedals: The Brake Pedal Cover is SERIOUSLY DIFFICULT to fit (I needed to use petroleum jelly) & the Accelerator is a full pedal assembly - not a plate that bolts on top.

I asked for supply only quote, I was quoted $1100 fitted, i.e. $850 labour to fit 3 aluminium pieces.

You got a good deal
