98H1B software update fault codes help

I recently took my car to BMW to replace the pressure converter and upon receiving it back my service advisor informed me that the mechanic updated my software. I get home, check codes with my accessport and there's a long list with no description. I thought maybe the car hasn't learned the monitors yet, reset ecu and 130 miles later still all codes are there and now I'm leaking coolant. Take it back to BMW they replace the expansion tank but the codes are still there...I asked my advisor about it and he said the battery failed the load test that's most likely the case. I told them it's not the battery it's the new software update and I'm asking if they could make sure but basically they don't want to check the codes unless I pay the $250 diagnostic fee because my battery isn't under warranty and they swear it's the battery.

I tried looking up these codes and most of them are DME malfunctions
My question is how do I get the dealer to look at it, or how do I make sure everything's running ok?
