Buying V1 for bimmerfest!!

hey guys, i've always wanted to buy a Valentine 1 radar detector. And I think now is a good time because bimmerfest is coming up in a week. My question is where do you guys recommend buying the valentine 1 radar detector? the official website for $399? any other websites? or ebay? what is the price i should be expecting for the newest version? please share your opinions with me whether if u have a V1 or not thank you guys! see you all at bimmerfest!

You can only get them from Valentine 1. The one's are ebay are used one's, that have the older software version. Get a new one and you wont have to worry about updates for a while.

Actually, you can buy a refurb from there website for $349, I believe.

Edit: I couldn't find it on their website anymore. You should call if you are looking for that deal.

And it's interesting they've held their price over the years. But it is a good quality unit that I truly felt was and is worth the money.

Well i am also ordering my valentine 1 tomorrow ... Most likely going to get a new one saw.. few on ebay but don't want to take a risk with ebay.... I guess quick search should reflect how to hardwire it on 2006 e90... If people can share there hardwired picture that will be great

the V1 is a pretty stout unit. I might buy one of these used if I knew it worked.

Do a search on V1 and you will find info on wiring.
