135i + BBS LM
Some pics I took of my 1 the other day, only a few good shots
As far as I know, its the only 1er coupe to rock BBS LM's, specially in such sizes. Mods: UPDATE: I've been getting a lot of PM's about this set up...i've listed below all the info needed: 18x8.5 +35 18x9.5 +32 (reverse mounted, i've read this would make them a +26-29--lots of conflicting information) 235/35/19 245/35/19 Camber: 3.2F/4.0R Fenders rolled aggressively + slight grinding down of the tabs/bolts 8.5/9.5 BBS LM KW V3 Custom Springs ( MUCH MUCH MUCH thanks to BERK for excellent service) VMC Control Arms VMC Toe Arms M3 suspension bits (F) Vorshlag Camber Plates CPM Brace (not yet installed) H&R Sway Bars F/R (not yet installed) AA Intercooler (not yet installed) AP Midpipes Supersprint downpipes PROcede V4 BMW Performance Grills BMW Performance Steering Wheel w/ yellow stripe BMW Performance Boot BMW Performance Hand Brake BMW Performance Spoiler UUC Shift Knob Rieger Eyelids Vorsteiner CF Vented Hood Some pics I took of my 1 the other day, only a few good shots An older image which i previously posted...this was with the car about an inch lower+5 degrees of camber :/ New set up-- raised ride height, and less camber.

Looks great! You've been teasing those wheels for awhile now!

I have, I have...It's not complete yet! I want to space out the front wheels for daily driving to give it a more aggressive stance.
In the beginning I was running -5 degrees camber just to sqeeze these guys on, after some tweaking I was able to get it perfect IMO. Running 2.5F/3.5R which makes for a great track and streetable set up. I didn't want to post pics till it was 100%

Care to share details on the wheel sizes/offset and what you had to do to fit? Or would you rather keep that secret for now?

Quote:
19x9.5 + 32 ( rear lips are reverse mounted so it's effectivey around 27-28) Basically had to get a much stiffer suspension set up to avoid the rubbing (the berk technology set up). Then I added some small suspension bits like camber plates, front arms, rear arms, toe arms... Added a mod list o the first post

Sick! But it might need some different side skirts, the stockers are too saggy..

I've been contemplating on LM's for a while now. So many people told me it won't fit and if ever I have to do a ton of job to make it. Glad to see thats it already been done. You my friend is the first one that I've seen to have an authentic LM. I'm thinking of AW face with polished lip. What about some interior pix?

Looks great...
Have you got any shots that aren't distorted? I want to see how the wheels are "really" fitting... things are a bit fish-eyed in these pics. I friggin' love LMs though. All time favorite wheel. |
