PSS Ebay score!

I have about 8000 miles on my 1M and some track time and the PS2s are shot. I have been browsing ebay weekly hoping for a killer deal on some PSSs since they were running about 1400 or so on DTD. I ended up scoring a set of 4 today in OEM 1M sizes for 1000 shipped, hard to beat that. The guys still has some left if you all are interested.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought 2 rears. The price is really good and even better when you see that its free shipping.

Derek, what were the manufactured dates on the tires (should give you Week # and Yr on them)? Just want to make sure they haven't been sitting around (though granted the PSS came out less than 2 yrs ago)

Fronts are 48th week of 2011 and the Rears are the 8th week of 2012.

They are OEM aspect ratios, I am not sure if they translate into a slightly different size, but it should be VERY close.

Gotcha, so pretty new as far as rubber goes. I saw the seller's other auctions, he still has some fronts left in our stock size for those that care. My only word of caution is, with TR's $70 Michelin cash card, the cost is only a few $ more and it comes with their warranty, dunno if through this seller one can still get the new tire warranty, I would certainly hope so. Otherwise, the small savings may not be worth it.

They appear to be so simply because they are a bit 'knobby' at the edges. The PSSs are more square vs. the PS2 which are more rounded.

On a different car, I have seen people run aggressive setups where the PS2s in the same size as the PSSs did not rub (inner fender lip), while the PSSs did, again confirming the squarish shape has some effect.

Well we will know if a 265/30R19 295/30R19 combo works today on my car.

It's a bigger difference in price than it looks. I was a bit sneaky and asked the seller to do the sale off eBay to save him the fees if he would knock the price down some. That's how I got all 4 for 1000 shipped.
