If you ever needed a good excuse to join the BMW Club of Queensland - its the skid pan driver training day planned for the 17th of MArch.

Booked my seat this morning.

Can.
Not.
Wait.

Top will be down.
Wheels will be spinning.
Fun will be had.

Annoyed I'll be missing this. I need to learn some skid control after my off on Friday. I'll be on a plane home from Malaysia on the 17th

Got into a "tank slapper" coming out of the Carousel at Lakeside. Ended up going off the track backwards into the grass and mud. I didn't fully turn off the DTC for the rest of the day...

I've registered for this but haven't received any confirmation yet, despite sending emails asking for such. Bit anxious to find out as I paid before the email came out saying the quota was full.

I had my money in within an hour of the opening and I don't have a confirmation either. I wouldn't worry.
