Looking to buy 2009+ 135i :)

but confused at the same time as I thought all or most 2009 onwards 135i comes with a fixed Sat Nav not a pop up one.

Any idea? I even found 2009 MY10 with a pop up Sat Nav.

Anyway small introduction, Erik is my name and driving VW Golf MKV R32 atm and hoping to find a nice 2009 135i in manual preferably AW to replace my current ride.

I came across this locally.

http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/de...x&sort=default

However the sales will not budge below $55k. What do you reckon guys?

Thanks in Advance

Erik

Welcome mate.

From memory the 09 productions models were built from 2008 Sep+. These cars came equipped with the new iDrive system.

I believe the older iDrive was first introduced in the 7 series around 2001 which shows how relic it is.

The 135i in the link you have provided has the NEW iDrive which is a big plus. It's a fixed screen.

If it had the old iDrive I would honestly recommend looking at another car as the integration is not very user friendly and it's dated. Unfortunately, some people pick up the car not knowing the difference until after they take delivery so it's a good thing you picked up on it.

When I had my car built to order back in 2008 I delayed my order by a few months to make sure I had the new iDrive. I used the older iDrive in other cars and it drove my absolutely insane.

I have an 09 135i bought new for 45k in Alaska. Didnt have an idrive, sat nav package but the Msport pack. Btw 135i doesnt come AWD, that would be the 335xi AWD.
Currently owe 30k for mine, modded i would sell for 32k.

Yeah it's in RM but still expensive as u can't convert cause people that are working there are earning RM currency therefore it's in relative to the prices of cars overthere.

Even after conversion of 3.1aud to RM3.10. it worsk out to be 258kaud lol
