Yes, but the car had records and paper trail to go with it plus when I put it up on a lift it looked like it was never driven. I seen some of those cars you are talking about tho...

Hi, welcome and sweeet car! as for the low mileage, not everyone drive a lot. My dad has an M5 but works at home so his car see only 50 miles a week LOL

Yes, you have to be cautious. Trust lightly and VERIFY twice.
I just purchased a 04 E46 M3 Vert last week with 15,700 miles.
The vehicle had all kinds of paper trails.
1st car fax showed being inspected and registered(mileage show) with the State
2nd the owner had service records
3ed the owner shows me she had 4 other cars and this was here summer weekend toy. Just had an unexpected baby.
4th the car has original tires and the DOT dates match
5th Looked on the air filter(that has a date also) it matched the production time period....
6 no driver seat wear, no clutch pedal/brake pedal wear,
7 i could eat off the bottom of the car...sick clean.

Its all about doing your work, when buying a used vehicle
