What wheel size should I buy?

I have a 2009 135i and i'm looking to replace the wheels. I am planning on ordering some Breyton GTS-Rs but I need some advice on sizing.

I would like to go to a square set up as I heard this will improve cornering. Does that I mean I should go 18x7.5 all around? 18x8.5? What tire size? any input would be appreciated

I suggest to get:
Front - 18x7.5" ET45 225/40/18
Rear - 18x8.5 ET48 245/35/18

If you try to use the 18x8.5" ET48 rim on the front, there probably won't be enough clearance on the inside of the front rim to avoid hitting the strut and control arms. If you use a spacer to make it clear, then its going to be close to the fender.

IMO, there is nothing wrong with using a staggered tire setup. If there is some specific problem you have with the cornering, then it might be better to consider some suspension upgrades instead.

18x8.5 front & rear with a 245
Offset in the range of +35 through +40

If you require a wider rear wheel, consider an 18x9.5 +50 through +60 rear

Thanks for the input. I've decided to stick with the stock wheels and just go for larger tire siZe up front. Getting 225s installed this afternoon
