I found the article interesting because although the automatic/DCT would not be my choice, I always had respect for the option. I am not a driving coach or professional test driver; nor am I "track person." I'm just a guy who likes to have some fun on an on-ramp or a deserted back road!

Car & Driver (albeit just one group of drivers) has test driven and reviewed nearly every car with every available transmission.....with little exception. I do like the writers and find the reviews fairly accurate to my findings in cars I have had the opportunity to have driven. Whether you agree with their assessment of the DCT or not, it is interesting they were so negative on the DCT regarding track purposes.

Great car regardless. Would love to own the 335is with either transmission.
