Standard wheel offset on the 135?
I've got the oportunity to buy some 18" x 8" ET38 rims off a 1 series racer. It ran 235/40 tyres. There's some gutter damage but the wheels look straight.
I'm wondering if these will fit under the 135's guards with 235 tyres - in particular the front. I'd just use them on the track. What is the standard offset on the standard rims? I've searched the forums but can't see it stated anywhere. Cheers.

H'mm, this might mean ET38 is too much, particularly at the front with 235s on an 8" rim. I'd like to run the same size wheel & tyre f&r @ the track. Anybody had any experience with wheel/tyre sticking out far?

Definitely means that. Those wheels will extend the wheel out 17mm... not sure if that is past the guards! If you had some camber then it would be perfect.

Sadly I let the wheels go. Amongst much other gear there were eight BBS mesh rims auctioned at the Sherrin Motorsport liquidation sale today. I think they're about $2000 each new! Five of them went for $300 each and three (with wets) went for $50 each. A fully set up 130i racer went for ~$41K & a Mini Challenge car went for about $62K. New looking Porsche BBS rims & tyres went for bugger all. Sad to see the whole workshop & showroom broken up like this.
