Nobody come at me with your retarded comments either. 340hp the 1m's hp is nothing next to the engine modification I have on my list. But we all no this of the 135i I'm sure. Anyways be good you guys keep working.
Dude, its NOT 1 f'in M... Tell me what did you buy when you went to the dealer.... thats right, a 135i.... you can do all you want to it and your VIN on ur car is gona come back as a 135i. Never in its life will it EVER be a 1M. Do you have a M button on steering wheel, no, do you have over boost, No, do you have the seats that came with it No (yes, could install for a price), the beautiful stitching, no no no, bottom line it will appear to be a 1m but its not.... Oh and you probably have a sunroof don't forget about that Mr. "1M".... only thing i agree with you is that my car right now would beat a stock 1m with the mods i have, but no way in hell are you gona beat a beefed up Manhart racing 1m. I have every top line mod imaginable including super sprint headers, fuel pump, Rb turbo on the N54 platform... keep up with my dads porsche 911 gt2rs, big deal is your so infatuated on this 1M, why didn't ya just do a euro delivery when you had the chance.... you also mentioned tire size can't be matched without conversion, bullshit, i have APEX EC-7 with 275 continental DWS's in rear and 225's up front, with no finder roll and noo rub. sorry bud but have fun with your "135i" for life! your the guy thats gona say, "yea i drive a 1m" your a kook and have fun with all the lute you're about to spend and manpower your going to input when I'm bout to gut my 135i for track purposes and on list for the M4. Oh and my track 135 WILL handle better than your fake 1m... Im done here, go back to subies ...

Sorry to break this to you guys but a 1M body will fit wider rubber than a 135i anyday. Just the truth. If a rolled fendered 135i can fit X a 1m can fit more. There is just way more clearance and larger arches. Sure, you might be able to fit 305 in the rear on taller suspension, short tires with a ton of camber, but what about the front? 305's in the rear will just induce understeer if you do not proportionally widen the front.

But I do agree, there is no escaping that this car is a 135i and not a 1M. It is very common knowledge about what technically separates a 1M from a 135i. The strength of the 1M is not solely based on its looks and ability to fit wider rubber.

What makes the 1M truly unique and valuable is how limited it is and what it represents in time. I do believe the 1M will continue to hold and creep in value and we will continue to see more 1M clones.

( This is coming from someone with a 1M Clone)

Lets not pretend this can happen, because i highly doubt anyone will ever fit 305s in the back with stock fenders.

more like he's trying to be better than everyone else by creating a fake 1m and quote on quote "I'm gona be one of the only 1m drivers out there". Im just spitting the truth, and saying "1m build BITCHES" makes you the "I'm better than everyone else mentality" ... Just drive what you got and don't have the ricer mentality that you portray.

Can do that same platform swap in a 135. Anything that fits a 1m will fit a 135 :S

Yeah let me know how that goes for you... Doubt you'll fit 305s without cutting the fender apart somehow.

What makes it a ricer mentality? It is his car for crying out loud, let him do what he wants to do with it, no need to express your own opinions, which no one cares about, on something that isn't going to affect you. Who cares what he does?

That's what the ricer mentality is. It's buying a Toyota and putting Lexus badges on it. Making cars into something they are not. You're right, it's his car to do what he wants to it. But he shouldn't go around calling it a 1M. It's way more impressive to go around he custom made everything to make his car look the way he wants. Everything he posted up until he was called out made it seem like he was planning to go around telling people he had a 1M.

I see what both of you are saying, but at the end of the day, who cares? Who are we to say he should or shouldn't do something with his car, or call his car what he wants? I just don't get the mentality of calling him out on it, and trashing his project simply for the reason that he will claim his car is something it is not. It is his car, and his project, leave it at that.

I don't think anyone trashed his project. I think what he's doing is really cool and impressive and looks nice. I'm just annoyed when I see people try to say something is something it's not. I didn't call them out, but I saw some people at a JDM meet with FR-S that had been rebadged to GT86. That's not too bad because it's the same car, but it's not a GT86, it's a FR-S.

If he can do a good enough job that it looks and preforms like a 1M, then i think he deserves to be able to put an M badge on it. It takes a lot more work to make one then to just go out and buy it.
