1fest
Hi Everyone I am new to this forum and BMW 1 ownership, I was looking on the regular forum and saw that California has a 1Fest, I started this thread to see what people's interest is in having the same or similar event for the New England Area, since we are in rare form. I am happy to work on organizing this event with anyone that is interested/wants to help. Please let me know!

That sounds interesting. It would be nice to get the group on 1ers in around the area. I have meet up with similar meets for the E9X. We went to flatbread in bedford, ma for lunch and it was pretty neat.

I have never been to that flatbreads but I am open to wherever, not sure if everyone would want to have an in person meeting to discuss? Does anyone have any good ideas for a location?? I have some ideas for sponsors and stuff. I was thinking a centralized location, I am not a fan of the Larz Anderson, but would be willing to have it there if needed.

Im not sure if there are enough 1s to do something like this. MPact and Oktoberfest are both in the northeast this year. Not quite New England, but a short drive for you guys.

so an interesting thing happened when I was the e9X meet at flatbread. I am not sure if the guy was the manager/owner but he gave us a pizza on the house. He was a BMW owner (4er, i believe). He was kind enough to offer food like that to the group but also he was saying that we were always welcomed there for food, meets, etc.
yea.. the 1er scene is small here. I have not see many 1ers around but it would be quite interesting to see a bunch of 1s all together. I like the idea of meeting up and maybe we as a 1er group can organize something. Something like a monthly meet. It is always nice to meet new people. |

my suggestion is to start small. Let's all get to know each other first. A meet at a restaurant for food would be fun. Let's try to pick a day of the week that generally works for people. I am free most Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, nights.
Name is Seelan btw. |

I love this idea. Weekends right now are best for me although my schedule can change frequently. I love drives to get good sea food.

Just putting this out there! but why don't we find a state park.... BBQ some food and crack some beers? what could be better? I'm sure there are some parks that have grills and picnic tables available! if that doesn't work I'm down to meet wherever... hopefully we can plan for after 2 on Saturday or anytime really Sunday.
