Request: Rear subframe bushing swap
1addicts,
Does anyone have a documented process for installing new rear subframe bushings? I am aware of the time commitment and that I will need to rent the bushing puller kit from Harold, but at this moment cant find the process so can't gauge the work involved and if I have all the necessary tools. The cost of a shop install is very prohibitive for this mod. You can find parts for $250 but labor runs about 8 hours ($800+). Help a fellow 1addict out! Thanks! |

I did a write-up on the bushing replacement. Search for posts under my name and you will find it. Right now the site is very slow for me so I can't run the search. Bottom line it is time consuming, but if you have worked on cars before, it's not terribly difficult.
