HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!! I AM GOING NUTS HERE!!!

HALLO Guys!!

I am going nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Have prologic 7 speakers in my car. Supposed to be 13 and all and I know where the are supposed to be, I think. I Read here somewhere of a guy complaining about the poor bass of his normal Hi-Fi 10 speaker system. But according to what he said his speakers are in the same location as mine but I ordered Logic 7 and not Hi-fi. He even has 2 subs under the seat, same as logic 7 and 2 speakers in the back doors. How do I know i have logic 7 and not Hi-Fi?

Can anyone tell me where exactly the hi-fi speakers (10) are so that i can check if i have more than 10?

dont worry, if your window/purchase sticker says you have logic 7...then you do, BMW isn't gonna cheat you on that...LOL!

and I think Logic 7 has a "Surround Sound" Feature where as other systems don't...

Right, the Logic 7 has the additional speakers in the B pillar, but where is the location of the "13th speaker" (sounds like a horror movie

) Other than the two afore-mentioned speakers, the "standard" (which is anything but, I find very good) system has the same speakers as shown in the diagram.

Wait, I answered my own question - it is the dash mounted one. Mine has the vents, not the speaker.

But as a matter of interrest, where are the 10 speakers located for normal hi-fi (10) systems? And I saw a 320i without logic 7 which had something in the middle of the dash too, just like mine almost, maybe a air vent or what? How do I know there is a speaker in there and its not just an air vent. Trust no one guys!!! Except you of course. Maybe BMW tried to screw me. Maybe they gave me Hi-Fi instead of Logic 7. Please prove me wrong guys.

I like the speakers in the seats. That way the people who drive with their head up their ass can enjoy the music too.

Um, dumb question here - the speakers are in the seats (or just under them)?

I ask since I never feel any bass from the seats, and I would figure it would be really hard to miss... I have Logic 7 and I've been a bit disappointed in the low-end on this system...

The subwoofers are under the seats.

Non logic 7 setup has 10 speakers. 4 at the rear behind the head rests and 4 at the front on both front doors and then 2 subwoofers under the front seats. That makes a total of 10. Logic 7 gives 2 more speakers on the rear doors which is absent in the 10 speaker setup and then 1 more speaker at the front center console. The 10 speaker setup has an air vent instead. All this is based on the E90 sedan. The touring is a bit different.
