Hey, all, first time post here.

After reading all these posts, I have to say I'm surprised. I always thought most Bimmer owners leased their vehicles, given the so-called long-term reliability issues.

I say the previous with tongue firmly planted in cheek, but the impression one can get on the web is that owning a BMW past the warranty period is a risky proposition. Glad to see most of you are buying to own, because that's how I prefer to buy my cars. Granted, this is a small sampling, but it's encouraging.

BTW, I'm a current Acura TSX owner looking to purchase an E90 (330i) in the next year or two, hopefully ED. I'd like to end up owning the car for quite a while.

I don't have my E90 yet. But in the past I always buy rather lease.
