I heard Gintani put a DCT into a e63 M6 which never came with a DCT, so anything is possible.

there's rumours lately that's not the case!

i don't know any more details other than there's supposedly the software to match the new dodson hardware.

The 1m runs the 335i 09 wiring the car essentially thinks it's a 335i now not a 1m the m mode button etc etc is programmable.

There is another difference in the cooling schemes for the DCT in the 135i, vs the M3. The M3 DCT has a separate transmission cooler from the factory, but the 135i DCT does not.
I am sure you will find somewhere to put a cooler, but the plumbing of the fluid might not be the same as if you used a DCT from a M3.
