well i guess it is just like the guy that bought a 3 series and made it into a stealth m3. Now 1ers can make their 1 series into a 3 series..... not that it is bad or anything

From the look of the eBay thread it is polyurethane by what those hot ladies in bikinis are doing to it. Although one of them is giving us the thumbs up so I guess it is good.

Now that I look at the bumper more closely, I think it resembles an M3 more than a the lower priced 328 and 335. So in that case I guess I couldn't buy an M3 if I wanted to right now . (technically a 3 series is any of those cars)

I didn't mind the 3 series that were made into an M3(although I had mix feelings about the 328), but I am not sure how I feel about the 1 series, it just seems out of place especially considering the size of the car. Either way I wouldn't mind seeing it done, but it just won't be me doing it:wink:

I would love to do it. Had I known that they were at the Essen Motor Show (which I went to last Sat.) I would have bought one. But i think everyone missed the little detail in the pics that shows no headlight washers. I think that may be a problem. I love the front of the 3 way more than the one. I bought the one because its smaller lighter and faster. I deff. didn't buy it because of the front fascia lol. So if I could get a more aggressive front end I would and will.

I'll check to make sure that it will work with our headlight washers first. Then I can see about shipping them for you guys. Maybe I can even get a group buy or something.

I guess I am one of the few that actually likes the design of this car. I never thought pictures did this car any justice, but when I saw it in person I was sold. As far as BMWs go, they were never know as being the best looking cars to begin with, I was only a fan of the M3s design.

Well, it's not ugly. I just like the 3 fascia better. A perfect example of an ugly car that I wouldn't buy is the new STi. Now that car needs a facelift. Like I said, I love the 1, mainly for performance aspects, and from the rear it is drop dead sexy. The headlights are just too docile for me. If they could of made the lights a little more slender, it would be an end-all.

I would be interested in a group buy as well.

CSR may happen to make two versions of this bumper, one with the headlight washers and one without the washers.
