Thanks for sharing. I hope you had a great time! Just one comment...do you think you could place the images vertically instead so we don't have to keep scrolling from left to right? It gives me a headache after reading 3 rows of the pics =)

I believe if you adjust the browser to the picture width then you don't need to scroll left and right....

Nice shot of Capree and the Robert Moses Bridge at the end. I miss my Germany trip, and you just made it worse because I went to a lot of the same place in and around Munchen that you did. Fantastic looking trip man.

Cool pics. Giving me a bit of nostalgia, remembering the days when I lived in london and europe was justa short eurotunnel and drive accross. And yeh agree you gotta try REAL food there and not the tourist crap as stated above!

Those are 7 Meg Pix but I use Windows Image resizer to make it 1024x768.. so it is 700k each... It was shot with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX500 Camera.. not the pros one.. only $250 camera....

You going to have fun there... Make sure have a Hot dog with the Vendor on top of Stelvio.. it is awesome.. 5 Euros I think... Lake Como, I park my car in garage in Como and take a cruise to Bellagio.. If you want to visit other place, Do buy a ONE WAY Cruise to Bellagio.. and take a BUS back.. Cruise took 2.5 hours one way so you waste the day if you bought round trip.. the Bus only took 1 hours and it drive thru the mountain road... and it cost about the same 8 Euros each way per person... and it runs more often. Milano is nice to visit for a day if you have time.. take a train to the city and subway are quick..

Very nice! I picked up a Jet Black 135i last October, and also ended up in Bellagio, but took the narrow windy roads to get there. That drive took forever and I was running late for a meeting all the way up in Switzerland, but hearing the exhaust bounce off rock walls with the windows down was worth the longer drive. Also, I think I'm pushing the limits of what is safe and prudent given I have my wife and a 5-month old in the car and the streets are so narrow (and there is a cliff on the other side) then some tiny Italian economy car comes flying up the road behind me and tailgates me. I don't drive slow, but this happened maybe a dozen times.
That 135i looks real nice in white, too. Looks like you got a speeding ticket in Italy? Sorry, there were so many photos I couldn't study them each in detail. I can't wait to pick up our next BMW (535xi wagon...maybe) in Munich. Finally, one last observation: you picked it up at BMW World in cargo shorts?? You're representing the USA, man--class it up a bit Cheers. |
