I have 12mm in the front and 10mm in the rear and it looks so much better than stock. I'm surprised that 18mm in the front doesn't rub, but Ill take your word for it. Have you tested the 18mm's on a lowered car?

Good point, I forgot to mention that all of our "testing" was done on our 135i that is equipped with H&R sport springs...which sit very low.

Want to confirm that you are running stock tire sizes. Any fender rolling/trimming (assuming not).
Have you got any pictures pulled back. Front 3/4, rear 3/4, etc...? |

what about extra load on the wheel bearings ?
Also, do you need to keep checking they are tight ?

Yes. You just need to make sure they are extended. We offer the RAD wheel locks.

These are hub centric slip on spacers with extended lugs, not bolt on spacers. You do not need to check your lug bolt "tightness" anymore often than you would an oem setup.

love the spacers!
the spacers fit perfectly, and I have to say really complete the look with any type of lowered suspension. I never really appreciated that the back wheels looked "wrong", but now it looks great...I didn't do spacers for any real performance gain...
also, spacers delivered in 2 days, with extended lugs, in perfect condition. Also...since I am in a good mood, I have to say that seeing these installed on a vendors car with pics really helped me decide... thanks, Raj |

stance with stock tires
car has dinan stage 3 as well, but stance is fine without larger tires...no rubbing issues so far, at least none that I can tell from inside the cabin.

Of course you are almost doubling the rear to front, probably creating more understeer...
Doh..my bad...18 in fronts and only 10 in the rears...that should help a little bit in making it more neutral at least... Last edited by Formel1; 12-26-2009 at 01:33 PM.. |

for those of you who want to run wider tires, a great combo would be the 15mm front and 10mm rear.
Our car is dropped pretty hard. If you are on stock or other springs like the Eibach, I don't foresee any issues.
