Yeah that's what I was thinking. This isn't a good deal! You got yours for a complete steal!

Yup.
I wouldn't hold out for that though.

Seeing as there is a 50hp differential for the 125i, I would suspect he didn't actually load the tune on. It is a night and day difference.

I don't think he loaded the tune correctly. As TheSt|g said, there is a 50hp gain. Tune alone.

sorry if this has been asked already, but what headers are you running? Those seem like pretty optimistic gains from the headers.

One the n52 _28i, you're going from collectors with integrated cars to proper equal length headers with the primary cats deleted. Large gains seem very realistic with properly designed headers. |

I really believe this is not the perfect/right place to ask this, but I do have a 2006/2007 steptronic BMW 130i. It's rated 265hp. What are the tune options for my car? The hardware you've put in your 130is (perfect naming!) are already on mine 130i, right? I also run on high octane fuel:
I use the PODIUM variation with a IAD ((RON+MON)/2) of 95... Also, Brazilian gasoline has 25% of Ethanol on it (compulsory). Is there any tune out there that could benefit from this? Should I post a separate thread? |

Beyond that, there isn't too much that gains significant power.

On another note: doesn't your headers CEL a lot? Or does the tune get rid of the intermittent CEL that comes along with high airflow headers? |

My headers would trigger a CEL, but the Evolve tune turns down(distinctly different from off) the O2 sensors so that no CEL is tripped and when plugged in the OBDII port reads no errors(which is what happen if they were off). Only tuner that currently offers that. Thread I made on passing plug in OBDII emissions: Evolve vs OBDII Emissions Testing

The only other alternative I know of is to use the aFe headers - which are not really headers - they have just enough catalyst to not trigger CEL. |
