sharks fin on roof

Does the sharks fin only come with the sat nav/i-drive option, or does it come with the M-sports package?

it don't come wi m sports its the bluetooth option as far as I am aware

It comes with the bluetooth, BMW assist, telephone preparation and navigation options I believe!

aahhhh that explains it.

I was having a nosey in a 330d M Sport at my dealers this morning which didn't have sat nav/i-drive but had the fin on the back. I wondered why!

For the U.K. the fin comes when you order bluetooth/bluetooth telematics.

I believe at the very basic...telephone prep that is why all US cars have fins as they all come with telephone prep....

Bimmer325: Bimmian has quality painted stick-on shark fins if that what you are after....

Now that's odd. I have the Shark's Fin and I didn't order Bluetooth, Assist, Nav or anything else. I have the 330xi with the Cold Weather Package and Leather - that's all.

All US cars come with the sharkfin, no matter what your options.

When I toured the Munich factory last October, they were stamping two kinds of roof panels: with and without holes for the shark fin.

I don't think it's very easy to just add it to the roof of a car that didn't have it originally. You'd have to cut the metal. Ouch.
