as far as my dealer tells me, he doesn't have a price...nor does he know, for sure, dates... It seems like they're all guessing as much as we are...one says April, the next May, the Next June... but hey, if Canada is only getting 2500, why can't they squeeze those few out before tackling the US's... |

...so if all 2500 are pre-ordered before the pricing announcement?
That's going to give BMW Canada some leverage to keep the price up, and even unreasonably high, just because they know that some of the pre-orderers will be so excited they'll over pay no matter what the price, just so they can be the cool kid on the block, or a beta tester, or .. lol . Also, by doing a small production run, they can almost guarantee that over a full sales period they'll eventually get full-pop for all of them. Canadian price fixing laws will keep them from selling over their released price, so they are going to hold on as long as they can, as long as ppl keep coming in and putting deposits they are going to hold out on pricing, IMHO.
If the price is over 10% more than USA, I'll feel insulted and go elsewhere. Good luck! Neil |

Hi neil85ae86. Unfortunately, I see more like a +20% price different in Canada compared to USA. Take the 328i for example. I know the configuration is not exaclty the same, but here's an example:
328i USA - $32,400 328i Canada - $41,000 |

You guys should see when I was placing my deposit the pricing my "rep" was predicting.. lets just say my price tag with 4-5 options came up to 57k after tax.. I was pissed but hey I was hoping itll be less.. I am just hoping for low 50's..... I don't understand what takes so long for prices to come out anyways.. especially when people are so called placing orders without knowing the prices in BC now...
