Installing Xenons @ the dealership

So I'm an idiot. I got too excited, wet my pants, and bought my bimmer w/o Xenons. I know it was an $800 option, but they didn't have it at that dealership and I wanted the car then and there.

Question is, how much would you think it would cost the dealer to install them there now and is it worth it? Thanks.

Discussed many times, do a search to see some of the discussions. I don't think it's worth it to buy xenons and pay the dealer to install them on the car. Plus, they have to reprogram the computer to get them to work. By the time you add the cost of parts and labor, it may be $2k or so. The price is strickly a guess on my part.

you are looking at $2000 for the part, another 1000 for labor. Just sell ur car and get a new one is a better choice. Or just live with an aftermartket xenon kit

I didn't think it's possible via the dealer with genuine BMW Xenons at least.

Sorry to hear about your predicament. For me, I wouldn't buy a BMW without angel eyes. I think it "completes" the BMW image and package. But it most likely will cost you at least $2,000 now. It may be cheaper later, and I mean later, down the road.

There is a true retrofit kit from BMW, inclluding all the crap to make the dynamic features (steering/bixenon/height adjustment) work as it should, its almost 3k in PARTS. Dealer would prob get 10-12 hours to put it in, so you could break 4K out of pocket.

Live with it. I have learned to :-(

Ouch. you should've been more careful.

I can't stand BMW/Mercedes without xenons.
