Drivers-side taillight wont light up

Replaced the bulb, still nothing. Original bulb looks fine. Its just the one bulb, that lights up the three strips that run across the tail lamp, that light up at night. Kind of a cool design, never really looked that closely at the setup.

Never had a tail light go out and it not just be the bulb or a fuze. :iono:

Taking it in Friday...see what happens.

Don't assume that a new bulb is good. Try substituting the bulb from the other side. If you have a voltmeter or a circuit tester, now would be a good time to use it.

Just noticed my drivers side tail is out as well. Blinker and brake still works. Prolly the same problem. How long did it take for the socket to come in?

sorry, haven't been on here in a while. nothing to report until this week anyway.

because a month after they ordered the part (new bulb carrier) they never bothered to call me back...even after i called and left a message. i had to resort to calling parts and asking them if the part was in, and indeed it was.

so i make an appt and go down there during lunch. decided to wait since it should take less than an hour. well long story short i was there for about 4 hours, and it wasn't the bulb carrier. they ended up replacing whatever module or whatever they needed by taking it from another 135 on the lot to finally get me out of there. my service advisor was a total dolt and didn't know what the hell he was talking about, when I could find him. and i was so tired of waiting i didn't bother to go find out what exactly the issue was.

now it works, but the bulb is out indicator comes on every time i start the car. which consequently never came on when it WASN'T working.
